The City of Birmingham, est. in 1871, saw the rise of the main business district in the 1910's. Tour the 4th Avenue Business District where the Jim Crow laws required the separation of by races and sightsee the future home of the AG Gaston National Monument. This tour includes a stop at the Negro League Museum and one of Birmingham’s many local family owned Soul food restaurants.
